The second part of semester 1 will be spent learning the basic functionality of CSS and how it interacts with our HTML code.

Classwork #1 : CSS Introduction
This task is to create a basic page which links a HTML file to a CSS file and displays the content. We will be basing this task around recreating our HTML introduction web page but now incorporating CSS into the design and creation.

Classwork #2 : CSS Page Layouts
This task will be to create a series of different page layouts using CSS and <div> tags to separate our pages into heading, menu and content sections.

Classwork #3 : CSS Interactivity
This task will be to begin looking at CSS #div and .class functions and how these elements can be altered using the :hover functions. We will be using these features to create a menu bar for our website and also to create a coloured cube app which alters its shape depending on where the mouse is positioned.

Classwork #4 : CSS Webpage Template
This task will be to combine the different elements that we have studied so far this semester into one HMTL and CSS file. We will use our page layouts design and then populate it using our menu system. We will also then use HTML to populate the content section with various images and text.

Project : CSS Website
This project is to create a fully functioning and interactive website combining the HTML and CSS that has been covered throughout the entire module. The website can be based on any topic of the students choosing. It should include an interactive menu system and as much evidence of CSS as the student requires.
